You can find all of our district's current job openings at this link. To apply for a vacancy, please complete the online application and upload any requested information and documentation as requested.  Positions are broken into categories.  If you do not see a category listed, there are no open positions in that area at this time.  Your application will be retained in active status for one calendar year.  To complete the application process, select the apply button found on each job posting. 

All our positions are filled via the Washtenaw Area Schools Application Consortium. Use the appropriate link below to apply for a job and view other employment options.

Job Applications



Our substitute teachers, para educators, and secretaries are contracted through the Professional Educational Services Group (PESG) in coordination with the WISD.  If you are interested in being a teacher, para educator or secretary substitute, please visit the PESG website to begin the application and signup process.  Please note that all steps of the PESG process, including orientations, must be complete before you may begin any substitute assignments above.

All other substitutes such as Buildings and Grounds and Food and Nutrition are hired directly by our district. You may contact Human Resources at 734-424-4104 for more information about those positions.

Our non-DEA Coaching staff is hired by the Dexter Community School District but contracted through PESG.  If you are a Dexter coach who needs to enroll as an employee with PESG, please visit the links below for further information.
