USDA Nutrition Review

Regularly, the Michigan Department of Education is required by federal regulation to conduct Nutrition Reviews to determine that school districts are meeting the nutrition standards set by the USDA. This review includes a computerized analysis of the menu for key nutrients.

The results of our review show that we are meeting and/or exceeding the established Nutrition Standards. The USDA commended us for our exceptional menu planning and variety.
