Parenting Through COVID-19 Webinar
January 13 from 6:30-8:00 pm
Parenting is a challenge on a good day, but how does it change when you are in the middle of a pandemic? This webinar will examine parenting beginning with how we learned to parent, including a look at how kids develop through different stages and how being surrounded by the pandemic of COVID impacts the manner in which we parent and teach our kids. Dr. Nic Cooper in conjunction with the Mill Creek mental health team has developed a webinar designed to address these issues and promote an environment that is supportive for parents and teachers as our kids move forward.
Dr. Cooper has over 45 years as an educator (counselor, alternative educator, administrator, consultant) and has also worked as a therapist in substance abuse treatment, a probation officer, and a parent educator. He's co-authored a couple of books, one of which addresses parenting adolescents. We are fortunate to have him currently working as an interim counselor at Mill Creek Middle School.
You are invited to a Zoom webinar.
When: Jan 13, 2021 06:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
