Happy Friday and welcome back! We hope you had a restful winter break with friends and family. It’s officially 2026, likely a year you have had circled on your calendar. We are excited to continue working together to support all seniors as they work towards the high school finish line and graduation.

Diploma Name Review
The time has come for seniors to make sure the correct name and spelling will be printed on their diplomas. All seniors and families are asked to review the student’s name on PowerSchool. The name (first, middle, and last) on PowerSchool is what will be printed on the diploma.
Things to check include correct spelling, inclusion of the middle name, use of accent marks, and/or the inclusion of a suffix. If there are any changes that need to be made, the student should complete the request form with the changes by Friday, January 16th. No changes can be made after this date.
MID-YEAR TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Students may begin receiving notifications from colleges and universities that they are requesting mid-year transcripts. All Common App schools will automatically receive students' first-semester transcripts at the end of January. Any school that is not part of the Common App AND requests a mid-year transcript should be requested through Parchment, beginning January 20, 2026. Please contact your counselor with any questions.
SCHOLARSHIP SEASON
The time to start learning about scholarship opportunities is now! While counselors do their best to keep students informed about scholarship opportunities, it is important that students spend time learning more about the opportunities that are available and that they may benefit from. Scholarship opportunities will always be posted to the Class of 2026 Canvas page.
