Fall 2025 Transportation News

Dear Dexter Families and Community Members,

National School Bus Safety Week is October 20-24th. This public awareness campaign is an opportunity for school staff, families, and community members to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety.

Attached to this message is the Fall 2025 Transportation Newsletter. It's got important safety reminders and some fun facts about the Dexter Community Schools Transportation Department.

It also includes a link to the Transportation Rules. We've also attached them below. As a condition for transportation, all bus families are responsible for understanding and following the rules. We use the PowerSchool Annual Forms as a way for families to verify they've done so. (Please note: these forms include other essential information and permissions for students!) If you complete your forms, we know you've reviewed the rules and won't send a reminder to do so.

Thank you all for your help keeping our bus riders and drivers, family and community drivers, and local pedestrians and bicyclists safe.
