All evening activities at DCS facilities are canceled for today, Thursday, February 27th. This includes Community Education Activities, Middle School Athletics, and Community Meetings. DHS Varsity Hockey Districts will still be played as they are an MHSAA district contest.
The Reproductive Health Curriculum Community Information Session is also canceled and is rescheduled for Thursday, March 12th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Creekside Intermediate School Room 311. There will not be a second hearing or DCS Board Discussion regarding the Reproductive Health Proposal until after we have the opportunity to hold the community session on March 12th and have time to review the questions asked from community members at that session. The Dexter Community School district has three venues for accepting payment for school-related payments: Send Money to School. Community Education, and PaySchools.
DCS uses PaySchools Online Payment Processing System to accept payments for things such as club payments, yearbooks, etc. The school or club concerned will tell parents to use that route whenever applicable.
Food and nutrition uses a simple meal debit system to manage student accounts. For more information about this system, please visit the Food and Nutrition page. The only exception to this is beginning of the year Snack and Beverage Program payments, which are paid to PaySchools.
- Online payments may be made using SendMoneyToSchool.com.
- You may also direct cash or check payments to Food and Nutrition via your school office. Place the payment in an envelope (checks payable to DCS F&N) and mark it with your student's name and the words "lunch money."
- You may also mail check payment (payable to DCS-F&N), to DCS F&N, 7714 Ann Arbor St., Dexter MI 48130.
Middle School and High School athletic registration fees for school sports are paid through Dexter Community Education. Here is the link to the DCS Athletics Fees page on their website. (Fall links will be live August 1st). Payments for self-funded sports (Equestrian, Water Polo, Dance, Field Hockey, JV Cheerleading, Hockey, Freshman Baseball, Lacrosse) are made directly to those clubs.
